Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch modding

Our star speciality. We unlock the potential of your Switch so you can use homebrew, emulators, custom themes, backups of your own games and advanced tools.

We set it up with emuMMC: the console keeps its original system untouched and the custom firmware runs in parallel from the microSD card.

  • Modchip on every model: original Switch, V2, Lite and OLED. The most stable and reliable method
  • Clean installation, explained step by step
  • We show you how to use it and update it safely
  • Console health check included

Modding voids the manufacturer’s warranty, and going online with a modified console may get it banned from Nintendo’s online services. We explain everything beforehand. For personal use and games you own only.

Switch faults we repair

Joy-Con drift

Your character moves on its own. We replace the joystick, or upgrade it to a Hall Effect stick that does not wear out.

Will not charge or turn on

USB-C port, charging chip and power chip. A very common fault after using non-official chargers.

No picture on the TV

If it works in handheld mode but not in the dock, it is usually the video chip on the board. We fix it with micro-soldering.

Game card reader

Does not recognise games or shows read errors.

Screen and touch

Screen, glass or touch panel replacement on Switch, Lite and OLED.

Fan and battery

Noise, overheating or short battery life.

Joy-Con rails

Controllers do not slide in properly or come loose from the console.

Nintendo Switch 2

Diagnosis and repair of the screen, charging and controllers of the new generation.

PlayStation 5 · PS4 · Xbox

PS5 showing no signal? We replace the HDMI port

A tug on the cable or a careless plug-in is enough to bend the pins of the HDMI port. The console turns on, but the TV says “no signal”. It is the fault we see most on PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series, and it can be fixed: we solder a new port onto the board and check the video chip.

  • HDMI port replacement on PS5, PS5 Slim, PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox Series X/S
  • Video chip repair on the motherboard
  • Full 4K test before handing it back

PlayStation and Xbox

More PlayStation and Xbox repairs

Overheats or shuts down

Deep clean of the fan and heatsink. On PS5 we check the liquid metal; on PS4 and Xbox, new thermal paste.

Very noisy

Dirty or worn fans. A timely clean prevents bigger problems.

Disc drive

Will not read, will not eject or makes strange noises. Repair or replacement of the drive.

Will not turn on

Power supply and motherboard diagnosis.

USB ports and controller charging

Broken or loose USB-C or USB ports.

More storage

NVMe SSD installation on PS5 and larger drives on PS4 and Xbox, so you can keep more games.

Controllers

Goodbye, stick drift

Drift is the most common controller fault: the joystick wears out inside and your character or camera moves without you touching it. It happens to DualSense (PS5), DualShock 4, Joy-Con, Pro Controllers and Xbox controllers.

We replace the joystick with a new one or, even better, with a Hall Effect (magnetic) joystick, which has no physical contact, does not wear out and will not drift again.

  • Standard or anti-drift Hall Effect joystick replacement
  • DualSense adaptive triggers
  • Unresponsive buttons, bumpers and triggers
  • USB-C charging port and controller batteries
  • DualSense Edge, Pro Controller and Xbox Elite

Handheld PCs and retro

Steam Deck, ROG Ally and retro consoles

Steam Deck and ROG Ally

SSD upgrades, Hall Effect joystick upgrades, screen, fan and charging port.

Retro consoles

Game Boy, PSP, PS2, PS3, Wii, Nintendo DS and 3DS: cleaning, capacitors, screens and drives.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which Nintendo Switch models can be modded?

Original Switch, Switch V2, Lite and OLED. On all of them we install a modchip, because it is the most stable method and the one that does not fail. Tell us which model you have and we will give you the details.

Can my Switch get banned?

If you connect to Nintendo’s online services with a modified console, that risk exists. That is why we set it up with emuMMC and explain how to use it to minimise the risk.

How long does a PS5 HDMI port replacement take?

Usually a few days, depending on part availability. If the video chip is also damaged, we will tell you in the quote.

Is a Hall Effect joystick worth it?

Yes, if you play a lot. It works with magnets instead of parts that rub together, so it does not wear out and the drift does not come back.

My PS5 is loud and gets hot. Is it serious?

It is usually built-up dust. A timely clean prevents the console from shutting down or the board from getting damaged.

Something not working?

Tell us and we will tell you what is wrong and how much it costs. Monday to Sunday, 16:30 – 20:30.
