Frequently asked questions
Can files deleted from the recycle bin be recovered?
In many cases, yes, as long as the drive has not been used much since. The sooner, the better.
My hard drive is clicking. What should I do?
Switch it off and do not turn it on again. Clicking usually means a head failure, and every attempt can scratch the platters and make recovery impossible.
Is it safe to leave my data with you?
Yes. We treat your information with complete confidentiality and only access what is needed to recover it.
What about SSDs?
SSDs are trickier: recovering deleted files is usually difficult because of how they work, but when the drive itself fails recovery is often possible. We assess it free of charge.
